Victor Moses Beats Mikel To Become Nigerian Footballer Of The Year 2013


On Tuesday at the ceremony held in Muson Centre, Onikan Victor Moses received an award for Nigerian Footballer of The Year 2013. Liverpool winger defeated Sunday Mba and John Obi Mikel.
Besides the reward for Footballer of The Year also other Nigeria Sports Awards winners were presented. Stephen Keshi was named Nigerian Coach of The Year, while Perpetual Nkwocha was announced Female Footballer of the Year.

In other football related categories Nigeria Football Federation President Alhaji Aminu Maigari won the award for Sports Administrator of the Year.

Victor Moses, who this year won the AFCON with Super Eagles and UEFA Europa League with Chelsea was also named Sports Man of the Year. Track and field star Blessing Okagbare won the award for Sports Woman of the year.
