How Man Machete Rival To Death

A 35-year-old man, Olusola Akiniwesi, has murdered  his rival, Oriola  Akinduko, in cold blood  while having  sex with his lover, Aina Afolabi, in Idanre area of Ondo State.

The incident occurred at Aina’s residence located at Opa Street in Idanre about 1am, yesterday.
While Oriola was macheted to death by Olusola while in the act, Aina
sustained serious injuries on her head and other parts of her body and was rushed to the hospital.

Shallys blog learnt that Olusola and Oriola have been dating Aina for almost a year until the ugly incident that led to the death of one of the lovers, yesterday.

It was gathered that information got to Olusola that Oriola had retired to spend the night with Aina and he waited till late at night to confirm the information.

He was  said to have armed himself with a machete and jumped through a window into the room where  he met the two making love at about 1 a.m yesterday.

Police source said he pounced on his rival and macheted him to death and inflicted severe wounds on Aina.

Police image maker, Wole Ogodo, said one Kola Akinduko reported the matter at the  ldanre Divisional Police station.

Ogodo said: “Olusola Akiniwesi, 35 years, met his rival,  Oriola Akinduko, having sex with one Aina Afolabi inside her room and entered through the window to machete both of them.”

He pointed out that while Aina received injuries on her  head, Oriola was confirmed dead in the hospital.
Ogodo added that the suspect is being detained at the police CID.
